Applied Informatics
The study programme is designed as a follow-up master’s study programme in applied informatics that broadens the general and wide IT knowledge and skills acquired in the bachelor’s study. Education focuses on data engineering that contains specific topics from data presentation and storage, methods and techniques for data processing and analyses (including computer learning) and subsequent visualisation and interpretation.
Study programme graduates can use their knowledge and skills in the application sphere and in public administration (including applied research). The study enables graduates to find employment in most IT jobs related to data processing and administration, as well as data analysts, where independent design and implementation of data models and their interpretation are expected.
Upper Secondary School Teacher Training in Informatics
The second level of studies preparing future informatics teachers for the second level of elementary schools and secondary schools. The study is designed as a double-major, i.e., it is only available in combination with another field of study.
Typical job positions after graduation:
- informatics teacher at the second level of elementary school,
- informatics teacher at secondary school,
- club manager in leisure facilities.
